Rwanda Teachers union (SNER) was established in 1996 and was published as a legal entity in the official gazette of 15 June 2001. SNER was a union of primary teachers and other professionals working in education.
It has currently 45,451 effective members. In the official gazette of the Republic of Rwanda of 13 October 2014, SNER has changed its constitution to align itself with the new structure of education in Rwanda.Learn More
